Conferência da IACL

Em 19 de julho de 2023 a apDC esteve representada na 18th World Consumer Law Conference of the International Association of Consumer Law (IACL), que teve lugar na Rudolf Steiner Haus, na cidade de Hamburgo, Alemanha, com o tema “Challenges and Unanswered Questions of Consumer Law“.

As nossas Presidente e Vice-Presidente participaram com comunicações relativas a duas das prioridades das políticas europeias de defesa do consumidor, respetivamente a transição ecológica e a transformação digital. Susana Almeida apresentou o tema “Empowering Consumers for the Green Transition: What is There and What is on the Move in Europe and in Portugal”. E Rute Couto tratou da temática “Unfair Commercial Practices in the Digital Environment: The Impact of Ratings, Reviews and Influencer Marketing on Consumer Behaviour”.

Foi igualmente uma oportunidade de networking com os outros participantes na Conferência e de partilha de saberes e experiências em torno do Direito do Consumo.
